We went to the travertines and the Hierapolis. It was going to be very hot, about 32oC so we set out early for the short walk up from the village to the travertines. The travertines are lime stone cascading waterfall, like stalactites you would find in a cave. They are some what degraded, but still spectacular. The Hieropolis was a classic Greco/roman ruin dating back about 2600 years. There were heaps of runis, and we ended up walking along way along what we think were Shepard tracks, not where the tourists were meant to go!
